ski trip deux
Jay and I again took advantage of Katie being here to babysit and headed out skiing today! A bunch of the guys that Jay works with planned a squadron ski trip, and I tagged along. I was the only wife, but they didn't seem to mind too much!! :P We went to Lookout Pass, it's a mountain right on the border of Montana and Idaho. So, one side of the mountain is Idaho and the other is Montana, and you ski states the whole time. It was pretty cool, actually. The snow was incredible and we had almost knee-deep powder on every run ALL day long. It took a few runs to get used to skiing in that much powder, but it was SO much fun!!! I even convinced Jay to take a few "action shots" while we were skiing. You can tell how heavily the snow was falling by the limited view in all the pictures.

A day in the life....
Hi. My name is Harry. These are pictures from a day in my life.
This is my favorite toy. It's a dugga-dugga.
This is my friend Joshua. I saw him at my playdate.

This is my girlfriend Suey (Susy). She's pretty, but she likes to take my clothes off! I like to chase her around and make her scream.

This is Susy and I on our date at the mall. We like to hold hands! :)

This is my sister Emma. I like to make her laugh. I also like to poke her in the eye, but my mom gets mad when that happens and then I have to say, "sowwy Emma."

This is my bookshelf in my room. I LOVE to read books, especially about cars, tractors, and Elmo. I get to read two books before bed every night.

This is my bed. I have cars on my sheets, too.

This is my bedroom. My mom made me a sign that says my name and I helped put up stickers of my favorite cars from my favorite movie, "Cars."

This is my chair. I sit in it a LOT.

Thought I would put up some new pictures of my adorable little monkeys.
We took Harry to the Jump and Play today in Spokane. He had a blast and was SO tuckered out!

Christmas Pictures! :)
Well, Christmas is over. The toddler is in his bed and the baby is in her jammies headed for bed. We opened about half our presents last night and the other half and stockings this morning. Harry opened as many presents as he could get to last night and then got burned out after finding one too many "oh no, jammies" boxes and wanted to just sit down and play with his cars for awhile. We figured that we'd keep him happy and allow him to do just that- he soon fell asleep curled around his tractor. :)
This morning he woke up and ate Santa's leftover cookies. I tried to explain to him that Santa was coming to eat some cookies and would leave him more presents, but as you can imagine, my little cookie monster didn't think that was a fair trade! So, today he ran right to the end table and ate the leftovers and ripped open the rest of his presents.
Jay made a turkey and I made my usual cheesy potatoes and we all had a wonderful Christmas dinner. I have to say that having young children made this my favorite Christmas in many many years! :)
Hope you all had a blessed Christmas and ate lots of cookies!

snow day!
We got a whole bunch of wet gloppy fun snow the other day, so Harry and I headed outside while Jay was home for lunch. Harry got to build his very first snowman! He didn't do very much helping, he was mostly mad because his hat was too big, but he did have fun helping me find the rocks to make the face. (I'm going to have to pick up some carrots at the store!) He called him his "snowy-guy" and was VERY upset when he melted this morning! :)
