Today we did a Kulinarische Wanderung. Basically, a "culinary wander." It was a 6 kilometer hike through farm country with 7 stops for food and wine. We purchased the 5 euro souvenir cups which came with nifty around-the-neck holders! These could be filled at each station for only a euro. Very easy to have too much wine- as the nursing mother, I was automatically the DD, but plenty of wine was drunk by the rest of the adults!! :) The food was also amazing- lots of wurst and other German cuisine. One of the stations also had face-painting and a bouncy castle for the kids. The kids did very well on the long hike, Emma had a few meltdowns, but the bouncy house and some apfelsaftschorle helped her attitude a lot!
