Race for the Cure!!
For the second year in a row, Jay and I are hauling the kids out for Race for the Cure! Its a 5K walk/run/race put on in Eastern Washington to raise funds for Breast Cancer. Last year, it snowed while we walked, but we had the kids bundled up sufficiently and had a blast. This year, we're obviously hoping for beautiful weather!!

We're not so good at the fundraising part, so here's where you all get to help:
Click HERE to donate, get more information, or sign up to walk with us!!
Thanks in advance for your help!! Yay Butterfields!

This was us last year... see the SNOW!!
Check out the post for more pictures too.... and to see how little Emma was!!

Fun in the Sunshine!!
Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous outside, so Jay and I packed up the kids and headed to Riverfront Park. We met my friend Amber and her two boys, Thomas and Joshua, to ride the rides and have a blast.
All the kids on the train!
Ems and Daddy. She smashed her teeth into the wheel while we were getting on it, so the poor attendant who raised the stairs got an eyeful of bloody baby. She of course was perfectly fine the minute the ride started though!
Harry flying the airplanes, "just like my Daddy!!"
My two monkeys on the train
What a beautiful day!!
Harry looking for ducks
This is from a few days ago, the kids wanted to eat their Happy Meals outside, so we brought them home and they had their first 'picnic' of the year!

Flashback Friday

All is quiet at the Butterfields....
Two things about these pictures:
1. Yes, that's poptart on Harry's face. C'mon, clearly this was not a planned nap!
2. In the picture of Emma, on the bottom right you can see the paw of her lamb. This lamb says, "Good night, pretty girl, Auntie loves you SOO much" when you press its paw. We listen to it on repeat at least 9 million times a day. Either she misses her auntie or she loves hearing that she is indeed a pretty girl. We can't figure out which. Thanks Auntie. :P Also, the cat meows when you press ITS paw. Yes, my daughter LOVES build-a-bear. Anybody want to be on her good side, all you have to do is send her one with your voice, preferably telling her that she's pretty, and you're golden for at least a year. :)
